Step 1:  Select a famous Missourians to research. Work with a partner while searching. Make sure each of you pick your own person. Use the Web Sites under the Research Sites tab, to gather information on your chosen famous Missourian. You can also use encyclopedias and library resources.

Step 2:  Complete the information sheet on each of your Missourians to help you get started. You will find the information sheet under the Information Sheet tab.

Step 3:  You will present your famous Missourian to the other students in an oral format. You can dress up as your person and you will stand at your desk. As the other students come up to you they will press a button to make you talk. You will then tell them about your famous Missourian. If you need to read from your paper, you can, although the more you can tell about your person without looking the better score you will receive. When writing your paper have a Works Cited Page to site all references you used to gather information for your paper. Have this be your last page.
